Today I thought I’d share a passion project with you guys! I’ve been really inspired by beauty and fragrance packaging lately and I realized I haven’t had the privilege of working with a client who needs product packaging yet. This is probably because I didn’t have anything in my portfolio to show that it’s something I offer, so it’s my own fault!
That being said—I decided to come up with a fragrance concept to add to my portfolio, and I think it turned out pretty nice. I wanted it to feel modern, feminine, and luxurious (in and understated way). The dark mood of the peony print feels serious and romantic, the label a textured off-white paper with a thick gold foil border, and a rose quartz crystal atop the perfume bottle.
I went through the entire branding process with this project just to draw out the big picture—and frankly, I just got carried away because I was so into it! All in all, it was a lot of fun and even if I hate it next month it was great practice.
I imagine it might smell like pink peonies and fresh air after a rain shower in Paris! x
